Tiffany, recently retired after 30+ years as Research Director, California Travel & Tourism Commisssion, suggested a great, crazy idea to husband Clair: what if they could live in Paris for a year! She would take care of the planning and logistics, and he would help carry their suitcases. He went for it. They came, they saw, they loved it.
Clair was an elementary school teacher in Woodland, California, until his retirement, then worked another eight years teaching English as a Second Language.

Emily is a Detroit native with a BA in French from Wayne State. She came to Paris in 2008 as a teaching assistant in a Paris Lycee.
